The process for the Beatification and Canonization of dear Bishop Orestes MARENGO is in progress. As all who knew him will testify, that Bishop Marengo lived 75 years in North East India (1923-1998) doing good to innumerable people, especially the poor. He loved to be with the people. He used to undertake long missionary journeys. He learned over 20 languages of the North East to converse with the people he came across and whom he loved dearly.
Since the process of Beatification and Canonization is in progress, and since we have to collect as many of his letters and writings as possible for study, I shall be grateful to all my readers, if any one of you having in possession any of Bishop Marengo's letters or writings or even anything connected with him (say, a gift or a thing as remembrance he gave you...) could share them with me. I am asked to collect them. They could be sent to me through scanned copy or as original through post/courier. Everything will be sent to the Office of the Congregation for the Cause of Saints in Rome after due study.
